My Research

This page highlights some of the research I have conducted.  More will be added as I complete different projects.  For now, I have included my first publication, another article that is ready for submission, and my Master's Thesis.
The Effects of Family Structure and Maternal Employment on the Development of Gender-Related Attitudes among Men and Women

This article is published in the Journal of Family Issues and is based on the findings of my Master's Thesis.  I collaborated with one of my former Professors, with whom I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, on this one.  This study is very quantitative and reveals some interesting findings about how individuals from various family structures view Gender Roles.

Family Structure and Socio-Cultural Influences on the Development of Adult Gender Role Attitudes in the Public and Private Sphere

Again stemming from my Master's Thesis, this article was submitted to Journal of Marriage & Family and received a "revised and resubmit" review.  Collaborating with two former Professors of mine, the revisions have been made and I will be submitting it for publication this Fall.  Another quantitative study that includes Socio-Cultural Influences as well as Cohort Effects of Adult Gender Role Attitudes.

My MAster's Thesis soon to be released
